Soulstream Ray, Red Village, The Soul Jazz Era - The Sky Knows Me

Where is the ground? I'm rising again Flying high through my own open sky I feel weightless I feel alive — And that's all i need tonight Wings spread wide Endless space unfolds Everything passes Everything fades — Just clouds below And i'm flying above them These wings of mine Are hard to carry They frighten people When they see them They're not made of feathers They're something else — Sharp as blades With sunlight flashing on their edges Fly Fly Through the fear and pain Fly Fly Through birth and death again Through the ages Through the centuries — Fly Fly I cut through the darkness with my light And maybe for someone I'll become a star tonight Don't try to name The color you see — There's no use A brilliant cut of light Won't melt away Inside my hands And if i fall I'll rise again And once again Above this world I'll climb I'll race into the sky — Just like that These wings of mine Are hard to carry They frighten people When they see them They're not made of feathers They're something else — Sharp as blades With sunlight flashing on their edges Fly Fly Through the fear and pain Fly Fly Straight through the fire again Through birth and death Through centuries — Fly Fly I cut through the darkness with my light And meet another morning With brand-new eyes Through space and time I won't disappear I'll become a moment And rise again And if you see me Don't call it a miracle It's only my heart — It never learned Where it belongs Fly Fly Through the fear and pain Fly Fly Straight through the fire again Through birth and death Through ages and centuries — Fly Fly Cutting across the dark Higher and higher I'm flying away Where am i going? I don't even know — And i don't care The flight knows me The sky knows me And i trust where it takes me That's all That's all I trust the sky
