Colter Vane, Owen James, Cain Walker - Empty Passenger Seat

Coffee in the cup holder Sun coming up Just me and the highway Again Caught myself talking to you About a town we used to know That old diner by the county line Still ain't fixed that broken sign I laughed about something stupid Then looked across the cab Funny how i still look your way Without thinking first Some habits stick around Long after people leave There's an empty passenger seat But it never feels empty Mile after mile State after state Like you never missed this ride I know better But some roads Don't listen Don't listen This ride You would've loved this sunrise Burning orange through the hills You always rolled the window down No matter how cold it got Still hear you singing off-key To every song on the radio Every bump would make you laugh Like every mile was worth the drive Funny what hangs around Long after the years move on There's an empty passenger seat But it never feels empty Mile after mile State after state Like you never missed this ride I know better But some roads Don't listen Don't listen This ride Five years this october Since that phone rang after midnight Five years And i still catch myself Turning my head To tell you something Before i remember You're already gone There's an empty passenger seat But it never feels empty Mile after mile State after state Maybe that's what memories do They keep riding with you One man keeps driving For the both of us With you Both of us Don't listen Coffee in the cup holder Sun coming up One more mile For both of us
