MARO - LOVE'S NOT TO BEG

For so long, I begged for your love Only to find love's not to beg Spent all my time dreary and sad Heart going bad, no more of that For so long, I begged for your love Only to find that's not the way Spent all my time feeling so grey Crying away, no more I say Oh, I really was certain you were the one Didn't want you to leave me, so I stayed on the run Looking back now, I see it's all wrong No, it shouldn't be that bad, No, it shouldn't drive you mad 'Cause love's not to beg For so long, I begged for your love Only to find love should be easy Spent all my time feeling deceived Because you made me believe that it would get better Oh, I really was certain you were the one Didn't want you to leave me, so I stayed on the run Looking back now, I see it's all wrong No, it shouldn't be that bad, No, it shouldn't drive you mad 'Cause love's not to beg
