Funkaus - Highway to Heaven

I never thought the sunlight was over It was taking a break from us Sometimes the clouds block The best of your heart We were waiting on some sweet melody For the sleeping to wake back up It tried to pull us away But we decided to stay one more day Then all at once I remembered it That I know the highway to heaven And it always goes through darkness So don’t be broken hearted We lost the map But its in my mind I know the way From the last time So take my hand Trust me this once We’re on the highway to heaven I always knew the sunlight was coming back It was just shaking off a little rust But I knew it didn’t just forget about us When you’re lost and you’re down and you have no hope When the lump in your throat makes you think you’ll choke There are millions around who feel just like you You’re fighting this fight for them too Then all at once I remembered it That I know the highway to heaven And it always goes through darkness So don’t be broken hearted We lost the map But its in my mind I know the way From the last time So take my hand Trust me this once We’re on the highway to heaven There’s a highway to heaven
