Dschinghis Khan - Sierra Nevada

Sierra, Sierra Nevada Sierra Nevada Sierra, Sierra Nevada Sierra Nevada Far, misty glad Where the wind takes the sun Feet, dust and snow Where all life is forever gone Night turns to day As it lets nature sway Heart, burning sun Makes the earth hotter still They started out their spirits high and gay The horses got the wagons on the way They knew of many dangers from the start But they were brave and hope was in their heart For some the journey ended in the sand They never made it to the golden land But those that got there promised all of me To live and love and keep their memory Far, misty glad Where the wind takes the sun Night turns to day As it lets nature sway Sierra, Sierra Nevada Sierra Nevada Sierra, Sierra Nevada Sierra Nevada
