Joe Louis Walker, Jesse Johnson - The Thang

All you dancers, doin the bird and the fly The chicken, the monkey and the Popeye I've got a dance, and it's not the same A funky new dance, they call the Thang You just wiggle, wiggle where you stand Now you're doing it Your doin the THANG Now if you think you're too hip, or think you're too square Once you start dancing, you just won't care The fancy steps, they do on Soul Train Forgot about that , and do your Thang Stamp your feet, stamp your feet Jump up in the air, shake your head Like you just don't care
