You're listening to Jam & Lewis, Volume One The blackness The blackness The blackness When I was scraping the bottom Down on my luck You came along and picked me up and Brought new purpose in my life Yes you did When I was out in the cold Somebody help her You took me in and gave me shelter In your kingdom of tranquility and peace Where your arms can be my security And your word can teach me How I should live Now my heart so much more compassionate Cause you're showing me How true love should feel Never felt real love 'Til I found you Deep and unselfish It's always true From a higher place Love that renews Never felt real love 'Til I found you Somebody say Heaven must be like this It must be like this Heaven must be like this It must be like this My life was outta control at wits end I was looking for peace in things it wasn't in I was lonely and needed a friend Keep looking you you'll never search again Lets respect the blessing we call life Remembering your sacrifice Changed my heart so I'm gon' try To earn a place with you on high Where your arms can be my security And your word can teach me How I should live Now my heart so much more compassionate Cause you're showing me How true love should feel Never felt real love 'Til I found you Deep and unselfish It's always true From a higher place Love that renews Never felt real love 'Til I found you No more days and nights crying in despair Im free from the pain that I use to bare You came to my rescue Lord You showed me that you care Through faith and your love I'm reborn Cause you give me the strength to weather any storm So I wanna thank you for Opening Heavens doors Each day I love you more & more And more and more and more Never felt real love 'Til I found you Deep and unselfish It's always true From a higher place Love that renews Never felt real love Til I found you Somebody say Heaven must be like this It must be like this Heaven must be like this It must be like this
