Taylor Swift - this is me trying (the long pond studio sessions)

[00:47.53] I've been having a hard time adjusting [00:50.41] I had the shiniest wheels, now they're rusting [00:53.77] I didn't know if you'd care if I came back [00:57.32] I have a lot of regrets about that [01:00.83] Pulled the car off the road to the lookout [01:04.33] Could've followed my fears all the way down [01:08.18] And maybe I don't quite know what to say [01:11.05] But I'm here in your doorway [01:12.99] I just wanted you to know [01:16.54] That this is me trying [01:20.10] I just wanted you to know [01:23.37] That this is me trying [01:26.78] [01:43.38] They told me all of my cages were mental [01:46.68] So I got wasted like all my potential [01:50.40] And my words shoot to kill when I'm mad [01:53.93] I have a lot of regrets about that [01:56.97] I was so ahead of the curve, the curve became a sphere [02:01.06] Fell behind on my classmates, and I ended up here [02:04.96] Pouring out my heart to a stranger [02:07.41] But I didn't pour the whiskey [02:09.64] I just wanted you to know [02:12.92] That this is me trying [02:16.27] I just wanted you to know [02:19.91] That this is me trying [02:24.16] At least I'm trying [02:28.77] [02:39.49] And it's hard to be at a party when I feel like an open wound [02:43.73] It's hard to be anywhere these days when all I want is you [02:47.39] You're a flashback in a film reel on the one screen in my town [02:51.85] And I just wanted you to know [02:55.46] That this is me trying [02:59.01] I just wanted you to know [03:02.28] That this is me trying [03:06.57] At least I'm trying [03:08.67]
