Gigi Perez - Balsam Fir

I went and bought myself a balsam fir I went and got myself thinking of her I drove around and looked at every tree I had to stop when I lost feeling in my knees I wonder why everything is green I wonder why it couldn't have been blue I wish that everything wasn't so green I wish it didn't make me think of you But what can you do? Oh-oh-oh Oh-oh-oh Oh-oh-oh Went to the store to look for your shampoo I guess that I just wanted to smell like you And maybe that's a strange thing to do But with me that's nothing new Oh-oh-oh Oh-oh-oh Oh-oh-oh But you are everywhere I go You're kissing her while you're stoned You are everything I know I wasn't your first but you were mine though You were mine though I went and found myself there at St. Mark's I sat around and watched some dogs in the park We're only probably five blocks apart But seeing you wouldn't be the smartest thing to do
