Billie Eilish - Not My Responsibility

[00:41.74] Do you know me? [00:44.12] [00:48.20] Really know me? [00:50.73] [00:55.61] You have opinions [00:58.79] About my opinions [01:02.20] [01:07.31] About my music [01:10.73] About my clothes [01:13.85] [01:17.71] About my body [01:22.93] Some people hate what I wear [01:26.15] Some people praise it [01:31.20] Some people use it to shame others [01:34.62] Some people use it to shame me [01:40.02] But I feel you watching [01:43.08] [01:46.15] Always [01:48.62] And nothing I do goes unseen [01:51.36] So while I feel your stares [01:55.00] Your disapproval [01:57.09] Or your sigh of relief [02:00.65] If I lived by them [02:02.78] I'd never be able to move [02:05.29] Would you like me to be smaller, weaker, softer, taller? [02:13.65] Would you like me to be quiet? [02:18.14] Do my shoulders provoke you? [02:20.84] Does my chest? [02:22.84] Am I my stomach? My hips? [02:26.84] The body I was born with [02:31.18] Is it not what you wanted? [02:34.16] [02:36.74] If I wear what is comfortable [02:40.92] I am not a woman [02:44.87] If I shed the layers [02:48.32] I'm a slut [02:52.12] Though you've never seen my body [02:55.34] You still judge it [02:57.86] And judge me for it [03:01.87] Why? [03:04.09] [03:06.59] We make assumptions about people [03:09.38] Based on their size [03:11.42] We decide who they are [03:14.62] We decide what they're worth [03:19.28] If I wear more [03:20.88] If I wear less [03:22.80] Who decides what that makes me? [03:25.70] What that means? [03:28.46] Is my value based only on your perception? [03:33.23] Or is your opinion of me [03:36.76] Not my responsibility? [03:38.35]
