Jake Vails, malovix 137 - Don't tell your dreams

They keep asking what I'm aiming for Trying to read the map inside my head But some roads are meant to stay unknown Until the day they're finally led Every night I'm laying one more stone Building something no one else can see I don't need to tell the world my plans The proof will speak eventually Don't tell your dreams Let your actions make the noise Don't waste your fire on empty words Save it for the moment you have no choice Don't tell your dreams Keep them safe inside your soul Move in silence, stay consistent And let the outcome tell the story whole I've seen doubt behind a thousand eyes Heard the voices saying you won't make it But every setback taught me how to rise Every scar became a reason to take it No shortcuts, no promises to sell Just another step, another mile One day they'll ask me how I did it And I'll just answer with a smile Don't tell your dreams Let your actions make the noise Don't waste your fire on empty words Save it for the moment you have no choice Don't tell your dreams Keep them safe inside your soul Move in silence, stay consistent And let the outcome tell the story whole
