The Dark Element, Anette Olzon, Jani Liimatainen - Here's to You

Hi, if you're reading this then I'm not fine I guess I'm writing just to clear mind And I would never want to be the spectre at your feast Last night while I was lying in the gutter wondering why And all the people were just passing me by You were the only thing that kept me holding on So here's to you For being right from the start So here's to you I hope you find in your heart The strength to forget who I was and in the end I hope you won't hate me I'll leave you with this, I will miss you everyday But I won't write you again I, I always thought that I was larger than life I always thought that I would never say die But I think you know for me it never rains but pours And now that all is gone I finally get the joke The irony of being the worst of all And I can tell it hurts to see the joke's on me So here's to you For being right from the start So here's to you I hope you find in your heart The strength to forget who I was And in the end I hope you won't hate me I'll leave you with this, I will miss you everyday But I won't write you again Long gone are now All the days of wine and roses Once upon a time's a cliche I don't wanna use right now Not a prince for the princess Not a man for the maiden Not a story for the ages I am but the boring truth So here's to you For being right from the start So here's to you I hope you find in your heart So here's to you For being right from the start So here's to you I hope you find in your heart The strength to forget who I was And in the end I hope you won't hate me I'll leave you with this, I will miss you everyday But I won't write you again So here's to you
