Amon Amarth - First Kill

[00:26.42] The first man I killed was the earl's right hand man [00:30.92] When he came to take her away [00:36.24] I ran his own sword straight through his throat [00:40.61] And then I stood there, watching him fade [00:46.37] The first blood I spilled was the blood of a varg [00:51.02] I had to wipe his smile away [00:56.23] I was not yet a man [00:59.03] Nor was I a boy [01:01.38] But still I made that bastard pay [01:07.16] [01:11.85] So I left him there [01:14.49] On the stable floor [01:16.95] Bathing in a pool of his own blood [01:21.79] My one and only choice was to flee this land [01:26.97] To leave this wretched place for good [01:32.98] I am an outcast [01:36.58] All alone [01:39.30] I'm a nomad without home [01:42.93] I am an outlaw [01:46.87] I'm disowned [01:49.46] And I am no man's son [01:54.81] [02:13.06] Through the cold midwinter night on a southbound winding path [02:17.91] The stars and moon my only light, and the earl's men closing fast [02:22.95] I swore that I'd return [02:25.43] That I would see them burn [02:28.17] I relive it in my dreams [02:30.71] The smell, the blood, his dying screams [02:34.61] [02:58.15] To my father I was dead [03:01.08] He took his hand from me [03:03.53] He drove me away, I was shunned [03:08.49] My one and only choice was to leave this land [03:13.35] To become the prey that they would hunt [03:19.50] [03:39.96] I am an outcast [03:43.71] All alone [03:46.48] I'm a nomad without home [03:50.37] I am an outlaw [03:53.89] I'm disowned [03:56.51] And I am no man's son [04:00.60] I am an outcast [04:04.32] All alone [04:07.09] I'm a nomad without home [04:10.86] I am an outlaw [04:14.32] I'm disowned [04:17.13] And I am no man's son [04:20.44]
